Michael C. Luley is in his first year as the Band Director at Lake Braddock Secondary School. His responsibilities include the Symphonic Band, Concert Band I, marching band, middle school percussion class, assisting various high school and middle school classes as well as overseeing the administration of the Lake Braddock Band program.
Louis C. Bean is in his thirteenth year as Middle School Band Director at Lake Braddock. He performs the important job of preparing the "junior varsity" Middle School Band students for the responsibilities and challenges that await them in high school band
Patrick Smith is in his first year as Associate Band Director at Lake Braddock. He is a graduate of George Mason University, and previously served six years in the Quantico Marine Band as a saxophonist. He teaches two middle school bands, one high school concert band, the high school jazz ensemble, and assists with marching band and other middle school and high school activities.
Safia Moten is the Color Guard Drill Coach. Ms. Moten has been with LBMB for 14 years, starting as a freshman on color guard in 1997. She has been coaching and choreographing them for since 2001. She is a high school teacher and responsibilities include English, Reading, and Personal Development classes.
