Marching Band and Color Guard Uniform Information
Marching Band (September through November, possibly early December) |
Uniform provided by Boosters:
1. Marching pants and jacket
2. Marching hat and suspenders
Uniform provided by Students/Parents:
1. Black shiny shoes (Purchased through the Closet)
2. Plain black t-shirt, plain black shorts (LB PE shorts are perfect) for home games
3. Plain white t-shirt, plain white shorts for Competitions
4. Black socks, must be calf high
5. Skull cap or similar type for hair that is not cut appropriately for Marching Season

1. White Tuxedo shirt with four black stud buttons (purchased through the closet)
2. White undershirt, not the band shirt, as the purple shows through (can be a tank shirt)
3. Black socks
4. Black, shiny marching shoes
Ladies
Uniform provided by Boosters:
1. Black skirt
2. Sash
3. Rosette
Uniform provided by Students/Parents:
1. White Tuxedo shirt with four black stud buttons (purchased through the Closet)
2. White Cami or tank undershirt
3. Black hose or knee-hi-s
4. Black, closed toed dress shoes - no sandals or slingbacks
REMEMBER: NO MAKE-UP, FINGERNAIL POLISH OR JEWELRY
FOR ANY MARCHING SHOW, COMPETITION, OR CONCERT!
Middle School Uniform Information |
Each band member is to have the required uniform for each performance. Individuals are responsible for the rental of tuxedo pants, shirt, cummerbund and bow tie through the LBSS Band Department (see below.) Band members must provide black dress shoes and black socks (boys) or black hose (girls). Students not in proper performance attire may be excluded from the performance.
There will be a rental fee of $30.00 per student that will cover the rental cost of the following items that will be returned at the end of the year:
Tuxedo Pants (boys)
Concert skirt (girls)
Band Tee-shirt (students will keep)
Cummerbund/bow tie
Combination Lock – for instrument storage
Each student will also need to purchase a tuxedo shirt for $18.00 distributed from the Lake Braddock Band Boosters.
Fee checks should be written to “LBBBB” or the “Bruin Band Boosters.”
